The Kovacs team wins awards in 2023 CPIN Research Day and LMPRC 2023

The Kovacs team presented various research in recent institutional conferences past May: 2023 Collaborative Program in Neuroscience (CPIN) Research Day and Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology Research Conference (LMPRC) 2023.


Seojin Lee has won Best Poster Presentation Award in both conferences presenting her research titled “Neurodegenerative Disease-Specific Dysregulation of Iron Homeostasis in the Human Brain”, highlighting her findings in cell type-specific deposition of iron in Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) and Multiple System Atrophy (MSA)-affected human brains.
